A tornado moves through Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington Counties, killing nine. White Bear Lake is hardest hit. A tornado also sweeps from White Bear in Ramsey County into Wisconsin after passing through Hennepin and Washington Counties, causing nine deaths and $4 million in damages.

Thanks to Mrs. Judi Vittito’s 6th grade class at Northfield Middle School for the research on September’s Day in History.

Thanks also to Minnesota’s Learn and Serve America Service Learning Program for their help.
